Electromechanical Assembly

Complete system integration from sub-assemblies to finished, tested products ready for deployment.

We transform your designs into reliable, production-ready systems

From Single Prototypes to Small Production Runs

At BESTProto, our electromechanical assembly service integrates electrical and mechanical components, switches, relays, motors, wiring, brackets, and enclosures into a single system built to perform a specific task. A PCB is often part of that system, but it doesn’t have to be: this is the broader of our two integration services, covering everything from board-based assemblies to purely mechanical-and-wiring builds with no circuit board at all.

Our Electromechanical Assembly Capabilities

We deliver speed, flexibility, and accuracy for any project, whether you need a simple sub-assembly or a complex system integration. Our core capabilities include:

Rush Orders

Are you in a pinch? Click to call or email us to share your project details and determine the 24-hour service feasibility.

The service turn time starts only after all of the following requirements have been met: all required documentation has been received, all Engineering Questions have been answered, all required approvals have been received, and all required materials are physically in-house.

Why Engineers Choose BESTProto?

Short answer? Our people. While many EMS providers can procure the same equipment and tools, the difference in making sure your prototypes are completed on your demanding schedule is the BESTProto staff.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is electromechanical assembly?

It’s the integration of electrical and mechanical components, switches, relays, motors, wiring, brackets, and enclosures into a single reliable, production-ready system. Unlike an electronic box build, electromechanical assembly doesn’t require a PCB: some projects include one, others are purely mechanical and electrical.

Electronic box builds center on a PCBA housed in an enclosure, along with the user interfaces, cabling, and sub-assemblies that support it. Electromechanical assembly is broader and doesn’t require a PCB. It covers integration of any electrical and mechanical components into a working system. Most electronic box build projects are also electromechanical assemblies; not every electromechanical assembly project includes a circuit board.

Integration of electrical and mechanical components, switches, relays, motors, connectors, and brackets into custom enclosures and panel assemblies. PCB assembly and integration when a project calls for one; cable and wire harness integration as needed (see our dedicated Wire & Cable Harnesses service for full harness capabilities); QA including AOI, X-ray, flying probe, and functional testing.
Defense & aerospace, healthcare, telecommunications, and manufacturing, among others, particularly where durability and consistency under demanding conditions matter.

No. None of our service lines carry a minimum order requirement. Whether you need a single prototype unit or a production run of several thousand, BESTProto scales to match your project’s stage, not the other way around.

Component and sub-assembly complexity, enclosure or chassis needs (when applicable), cable and wire harness requirements, testing scope, and order volume. Contact BESTProto with your specs for an accurate quote.

BESTProto offers Express (5-day), Expedited (10-day), and Standard (20-day) turnaround tiers for electromechanical assembly, with 24-Hour Rush available on request. See our Services page for full turnaround details.
